Production Supervisor at ReelFruit

Job Summary

• Accomplish departmental objectives by communicating job expectations, delegating & coordinating, coaching, counselling and monitoring the Packhouse production work process to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning monthly and annual production target.
• Weekly & Daily target/process planning and fulfilment
• Managing all Packhouse activities.
• Daily delegation and coordination of team and tasks.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring and supervising every step of the process
• Coordinating personnel and resources
• Coordinating the production process, from beginning till upon completion
• Perform monthly target analysis to influence buying.
• Initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between subunit
• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel to various tasks.
• Establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems
• Reporting results of the processing flow on production summaries to line manager.
• Recording and reconciliation of daily activities and inventory usage.
• Implement appropriate improvement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce production error
• Coordinating technical team to ensure proper daily equipment usage and maintenance
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures.
• Compliance with Quality Assurance processes for process improvement and traceability.
• Ensure employee compliance to safety procedures in all Packhouse activities.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reconciliations of production activities for projections, WIP, achieved targets and stock returns
• Ensure and provide accurate batching and labelling of items produced
• Ensure cleanliness in all work areas

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND with at least 1 year work experience.
