    Production Planning Control

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time, on-site Production Planning Control role based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
    • The role is responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and optimal use of machines, materials, and labor.
    • The Production Planning Control professional will coordinate closely with production, procurement, maintenance, and logistics teams to align capacity with customer orders and inventory targets.
    • Day-to-day tasks include analyzing production data, tracking work orders, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
    • The role will also involve preparing regular reports, communicating plan changes to stakeholders, participating in continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting adherence to safety and compliance requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Strong expertise in production planning and control, including experience developing and managing production schedules.
    • Solid planning and analytical skills to forecast demand, balance capacity, and optimize resource utilization.
    • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly convey schedule changes and priorities.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging, printing, or related industries.
    • Proficiency with production planning or ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to work accurately under time constraints, prioritize tasks, and solve problems proactively.
    • Relevant diploma or degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production setting.
