Production Officer at AACE Food Processing & Distribution Limited

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute daily production plans in line with approved schedules and output targets.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure correct use of raw materials and packaging materials to minimize waste.
• Record production output, downtime, and variances accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and hygiene standards on the production floor.
• Supervise production operators and casual staff during assigned shifts.
• Allocate tasks, monitor attendance, and enforce discipline on the production floor.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Complete daily production reports, shift handover notes, and material usage records.
• Maintain accurate production documentation for audit and traceability purposes.
• Enforce health and safety rules and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment at all times.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• HND/BSc in Food Science & Technology or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing role, preferably in food processing or FMCG.
• Experience working on factory production lines is an added advantage.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Good understanding of production processes and factory operations.
• Basic knowledge of GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate shop-floor staff.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work shifts and in a factory environment.
