Production Manager at Olam Agri

Job Description

• The Production Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of high-capacity pasta production operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality output in line with company objectives.
• The role requires an experienced professional with strong technical expertise in pasta manufacturing, especially in managing FAVA Spaghetti lines, and proven ability to optimize plant performance, manpower, and processes through strong leadership and systematic control of KPIs.

Key Deliverables

• Led end-to-end pasta production planning and execution, ensuring optimal use of equipment, materials, and manpower.
• Operated high-capacity FAVA Spaghetti lines, maintained OEE, and enforced preventive maintenance.
• Ensured ISO 22000 compliance, product quality, and hygiene across production and packaging.
• Managed and motivated teams, ensured shift coordination, discipline, and a safety-first culture.
• Tracked KPIs, analyzed performance data, and presented reports to senior management.
• Utilized SAP for production, inventory, and reporting; supported digital process improvements.
• Controlled waste, optimized costs, and implemented lean, sustainable practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor`s / Master’s degree in Food Technology, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing high-capacity pasta production lines.
• Proven hands-on experience with FAVA Spaghetti lines is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of production management principles, OEE, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and production data management.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 22000 or other food certification systems.
