Production Centre Finance Controller (Lagos Based)
Overall responsible for managing PC Commercial, Finance, Tax topics
On ground tracking and spend management to ensure that costs in the PC are in line with the budget setup for the year. Work with PC Director to ensure that cost development on an annual basis are managed in a way that PC ICP develops in a positive direction.
Control: Ensuring the correct level of controls on the site in relation to the capital and revenue budget, assets, cash spends are maintained including development of SOP’s. Ensure right accounting of costs to enable decision making
Ensure control on the fixed assets in the factory environment including capitalization and disposal
Accounting and reporting as per the corporate guidelines, maintain records as per legal and statutory requirement so that the overall local, corporate and HQ requirements are fulfilled.
Ensuring the right internal controls are in place for the factory operations
Timely and accurate Monthly closing & secure close link to Regional office in regard to needed reporting, i.e. CIS, invest reporting, risk reporting, SOI and execute the needed reporting after alignment with local management
Strong interlink towards accounting to secure financials with high transparency between Balance sheet, Statement of Income, Assets, etc.
Co-ordination with various auditors & follow-up on audit recommendations
Support the annual business planning process by calculating and providing “intercompany prices”.
Responsible for quarterly forecast process
Reporting and analyzing of cost variances in the factory and working towards reducing those
Tracking and reporting of factory cost saving projects. Leading projects on cost savings on GE lines to support ICP development.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Proven experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, and inventory management.
Advanced proficiency in SAP (especially modules related to finance and materials management).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
Knowledge of procurement processes, material planning, and cost control methodologies.
