    Product Sales Engineer (Manufacturing & Cement)

    Role Overview:

    • Join our team as a The Product Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales of technical products and solutions to clients within the manufacturing and cement
    • sectors.
    • The role combines engineering knowledge with consultative selling to support plant operations, improve efficiency, and deliver costeffective technical solutions.
    • The ideal candidate will understand industrial processes, plant equipment, and customer needs while building strong B2B relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Actively research and identify new business opportunities and project pipelines within the Manufacturing and Cement industries.
    • Conduct sales visits, engagements and networking with key decision-makers, including plant managers, engineers, and procurement heads.
    • Prospect and create new accounts to expand the company's market share in the FMCG and heavy industrial sectors.
    • Assess client equipment needs and system requirements to recommend tailored technical solutions.
    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations on our OEM brands.
    • Manage the transition from "lead" to "order," ensuring adequate follow-up on closure.
    • Maintain strong professional relationships with existing key accounts through regular checkins and performance reviews.
    • Analyze sales history to identify and proactively reactivate dormant clients through targeted technical support and new product offerings.
    • Provide pre and post-delivery assistance, troubleshooting technical issues to ensure longterm satisfaction and repeat businesses.
    • Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM and provide weekly/monthly reports on sales targets, pipeline status, and market trends to the Technical Sales.
    • Collaborate with Engineering teams to provide market feedback for new OEM products.
    • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and site visits to stay ahead of competitor activity and industry shifts.
    • Ensure Request for Quote and Tenders are followed up till eventual orders are gotten and closed out.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial/Production Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
    • HND in relevant engineering fields may be considered with strong experience.
    • Relevant years of experience in technical sales, industrial equipment sales, or manufacturing environments.
    • Experience working with cement plants, heavy industry, or industrial machinery is an advantage.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Understanding of cement manufacturing processes and plant operations.
    • Knowledge of industrial equipment, automation systems, and maintenance solutions.
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
    • Familiarity with process efficiency and plant reliability concepts.
    • HSE certification and compliance to Engineering and Safety principles, codes and ethics
