Job Summary

• Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development with the developers and reporting back to the stakeholders for review

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with team leads and the CEO to understand and anticipate the needs of each and translate them into product requirements
• Report directly to the IT manager and CEO
• Defining the vision for the team’s product
• Creating a product roadmap based on this vision
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
• Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development with the developers and reporting back to the stakeholders for review
• Developing user stories in collaboration with all team leads
• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
• Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
• Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
• Organizing review meetings with external people to review the product and give feedback
• Report directly to the IT manager and CEO
• Oversee the backlog of improvements and defects, defining the requirements and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate release management and coordinate communications around product enhancements and releases
• Work with 3rdparty project managers to ensure timely delivery of product capabilities to market
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Define and manage the execution of the strategic roadmap for expanding the business.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 4 years relevant work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
• Working knowledge of product development architecture
• Ability to prioritize effectively
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to work with large teams
• Knowledge of design quality standards.
