The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the short and long-term marketing plans for BetKing’s online business, ensuring that through a combination of customer understanding and knowledge of business needs, BetKing can grow its market share.
The Product Marketing Manager will work with the product and trading teams to align BetKing’s customer-facing propositions across Sports, Virtuals, and Casino.
This role will be based at our Lagos office and requires the successful candidate to work on-site.
What You Will Be Doing:
Own the yearly marketing campaign plan for key events and product deliverables, considering the priorities of the business, customer needs and the sporting calendar in deciding priorities
Own the go-to-market plans, aligning all areas of the business behind campaign objectives and key messages, ensuring they are effectively supported across all touchpoints, and resonate with customers
Manage the promotional budget and plans for Sports, Virtuals, and Casino to maximise customer retention through effective bonusing, considering both short & long-term opportunities
Working with the Research and Insight team, constantly evaluate key performance indicators and adapt plans to react to opportunities that arise
As the owner of the marketing campaign plan, ensure that the trading, product, and marketing teams are aligned behind the greatest commercial opportunities and that we are targeting these with sufficient investment
Work with the finance team to ensure that the promotional budget is accurately phased and monitored on an ongoing basis
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will support them on the overall marketing strategy and budget
What You Need for This Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (preferred).
A demonstrable track record of driving performance in an online business
A passion for data and the desire to use this to strive for improved performance constantly
A passion for understanding customer motivations and creating ideas for how these can be met
The ability to influence at all levels to create alignment among teams
Experience in building, interpreting, and communicating performance metrics to multiple organisational levels.
Experience managing budgets, including cost management and reporting
Experience in the online sports betting industry is advantageous but not essential
