Product Manager at Terawork

Job Summary:

• We are looking for a product manager who can lead the development and launch of innovative products that solve real customer problems and create value for our business. You will be responsible for managing the product life circle from ideation to market fit, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering products that meet user needs and business goals.
• The Product Manager would work collaboratively with our young dynamic Product Team. As the product manager, you will be responsible for owning the product lifecycle of an exciting new product that is set to significantly impact the financial industry in Nigeria and beyond. ongoing success and continuous improvement of our tech solution.
• You will be managing products lifecycles from minimum viable product (MVP) to product market fit (PMF) stages. Also managing a team and working closely to develop the product vision, roadmap, and backlog to develop products and services that meet user needs.
• An individual who is passionate about digital and experienced in digital service design and delivery, product management, and agile.
• The role involves balancing competing demands to ensure the service team is working on the highest value activity from your roadmap and backlog at any point in time.

Key Responsibilities:

· Managing products lifecycles from minimum viable product (MVP) to product market fit (PMF) stages.

• Interpret user research, quantitative and qualitative data to make informed product decisions, distinguishing between user needs and user wants, and recognizing that users may not always be able to articulate their needs.
• Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify customer pain points and validate product ideas.
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and communicate them clearly to stakeholders and team members.
• Be responsible for the entire product/service lifecycle. Continue to improve the product/service post-launch through effective analysis of qualitative and quantitative user data, including offline data from call centers etc.
• Plan product communication for launch and at key points during the product lifecycle.
• Prioritize and scope product features based on user feedback, data, and business impact.
• Write detailed product requirements and user stories and work closely with engineers and designers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Test and iterate on product features based on user feedback and metrics, and optimize product performance and user experience.
• Launch and market products to target customers, and measure and report on product success and learnings.

Requirements (Skills and Qualifications):

• 5+ years of product management experience in a tech company, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment
• Proven track record of managing product life circles from MVP to PMF and launching successful products that solve customer problems and achieve business objectives.
• Experience in agile, lean, and user-centric product development methodologies and tools
• Agile, adaptable, and capable of delivering new products and features iteratively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to influence and align stakeholders and team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience or any product manager (or Agile) certifications
• Stakeholder management, communications, product management, any development skills will be a bonus.
