Product Manager at Sunhive Ltd

Summary of Job Function

We are looking for a Product Manager to help design, develop, and scale our clean-energy and infrastructure technology products — from concept through delivery. You’ll work cross-functionally with customers, researchers, engineering, operations, design, and business teams to translate business goals into user-focused products that advance sustainability and impact.

Responsibilities

• Support product discovery and user research for new digital tools (e.g., utility apps, clean energy dashboards and platforms).
•  Translate user and business needs into product requirements and user stories.
•  Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations to deliver product releases on time.
•  Track product performance using analytics tools (Mixpanel, GA4, Power BI).
•  Create wireframes and feature documentation for new functionalities.
•  Manage product backlog, roadmap updates, and sprint priorities.
•  Collect and interpret user feedback to refine MVPs or existing features.
•  Report directly to the Product Lead / Founder and contribute to strategy discussions.

KPIs / Success Metrics

•  Product release milestones met on schedule
•  User adoption or engagement rates
•  Feedback loop turnaround time (prototype → user → iteration)
•  Quality of product documentation and communication
•  Contribution to customer satisfaction and NPS

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–3 years’ experience as Product Manager, Associate PM, or Business Analyst in a tech or operations-heavy company.
•  Hausa as a First or Second Language.
•  Experience with digital products (web/app) or hardware-software products (IoT, energy, smart devices) is a plus.
•  Familiar with Agile/Scrum frameworks.
•  Working knowledge of tools like Jira, Notion, Trello, Figma, Miro, Google Workspace.
•  Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-growing environments.

Nice-to-Have

•  Working experience in Northern Nigeria
•  Experience from bootcamps such as ProductDive, LS Academy, SeedBuilders, or People in Product.
