    Product Manager Intern

    Purpose of Job 

    • To create product line vision, goals and roadmap based on solving customer's biggest problems. 
    • To Uncover underlying customer needs by understanding end-user perspectives and pain points. 
    • Determine product strategy that aligns with Gurugeek's complex product ecosystem, considering industry trends, vendor marketspace, and organizational priorities 

    Responsibilities 

    • Define and communicate customer journey, process maps, and detailed user stories/requirements. 
    • Solicit feedback and analyze data to constantly evolve product and approach. 
    • Manage sprint plans, issues, and decisions, anticipating risk and ensuring focus stays on maximizing value within a timeline and resource constraints. 
    • Uncover underlying customer needs by understanding end-user perspectives and pain points  
    • Lead development of requirements and related specifications, documentation, and business cases. 
    • Perform market/competitive research. 
    • Work directly with business stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements and feature requests, and effectively communicate product functionality and timelines. 
    • Partner with engineering, UX, and external vendors to assess build vs. buy options, focused on delivering simple and scalable solutions with a reasonable time to value 

    Qualifications & Experience  

    • An Under-graduate/bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, management, engineering or a related field. 
    • Proven experience with product management software programs. 
    • Proficient in coding from previous technical experience 
    • Proficient using SQL and Microsoft Excel . 
    • You have knowledge of statistics, data analytics, or research experience preferred
