    Product Innovation Manager

    Job Description

    • 7RiverLabs is seeking the services of a Product Innovation Manager to support the business growth of the company. This role will be responsible for the design, launch, and management of diagnostic product offerings that meet the needs of our various customer categories.
    • At present, 7RL has several offerings including Covid-19, advanced diagnostics, and routine tests.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Create new product offerings to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Develop strategies including structures for gathering information for new product design.
    • Will be responsible for setting the Pricing in the market after considering all internal and external factors.
    • Work with Legal to understand regulatory requirements and ensure we get all the authorizations necessary for GTM.
    • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to refine our existing Test Menu to reflect the reality of the market.
    • Carry out market research to identify opportunities for developing new products or making changes to existing products.
    • Ensure we have a structured GTM plan for the product/s and manage all the aspects as such for a successful launch.
    • Following a product launch, s/he monitors its performance. Based on findings, s / he may recommend modifications to the product/market strategy.
    • Collect and analyze product data to detect trends and provide necessary information and recommendations.
    • Understands the business background, issues and implications of the specific solution being addressed
    • Lead the product & customer engagement designs, with focus on the customers’ points of view (i.e., customer feedback through focus group discussions, testimonials, etc.).
    • Support Marketing & Sales teams with research on effective sales & marketing channels that will improve the products’ return on investment.
    • Ensure all internal staff are trained on how to market and sell the product
    • Liaise with all internal teams and external KOL’s to ensure that there is an actual need in the market and it will generate revenue
    • Liaise with the lab to ensure we can offer such products.
    • Coordinate intelligence gathering via multiple sources and partners including workshops and online seminars.

    Requirements
    Education & Certifications:

    • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management Studies or in a related discipline.

    Experience:

    • 5 years of relevant experience.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Product innovation and management experience; in the consumer products market will be an advantage.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the diagnostic landscape.
    • Result-oriented.
    • Top-notch strategy, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Self-starter with the drive for continuous improvement and achievement.
    • Experience coordinating across multiple team and influencing without authority.
    • Innovative thinker able to think out of the box and is not afraid to offer new innovative ideas.
