    Product Designer

    Job Summary

    • A Product Designer is a creative problem-solver who translates user needs and business goals into user-centered products.
    • They bridge the gap between user research, design thinking, and product development, focusing on creating products that are both usable and desirable.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
    • Define product vision and strategy by collaborating with product managers and stakeholders.
    • Design user interfaces (UIs) and user experiences (UX) that are intuitive, efficient, and delightful to use.
    • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and test design concepts.
    • Conduct usability testing to gather user feedback and iterate on designs.
    • Collaborate with developers and other teams to ensure smooth implementation of the product design.
    • Communicate design decisions effectively to stakeholders and team members.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and tools in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Product Designer with 4-6 years of experience.
    • Strong understanding of design thinking principles and user-centred design (UCD) methodology.
    • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability
    • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, etc).
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Additional Skills (may be desired depending on the specific role):

    • Experience with user research methods (e.g., user interviews, surveys, usability testing)
    • Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS)
    • Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Proto.io)
    • Understanding of the product development lifecycle
    • Experience with design systems and UI libraries.
