Product Designer at Nomba (Formerly Kudi)

• We are looking for a Product Designer with a knack for finding intuitive solutions that let customers use our products easily. The perfect candidate will be proficient throughout the design process, but always keeping the customer’s needs in mind.
• You will collaborate with other designers and cross-functional team members, relying heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make well-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define design requirements based on insights from internal teams and user research.
• Identify potential product improvements.
• Analyse how a new product aligns with market demands and consumer preferences.
• Stay informed about current industry trends and market conditions.
• Collaborate with other design team members to ensure consistent and accurate communication.
• Adapt and refine existing designs to meet evolving customer preferences.
• Work closely with product engineers to propose improvements for products and processes.
• Present product design concepts to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, user Interface design, user experience design, interaction design, and usability testing
• A well-developed design portfolio showcasing a clear understanding of user problems and goals.
• Proficiency in Figma design tool
• An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious
• Keen eye for detail and dedication to excellence
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
• Ability to gather, interpret, and apply both qualitative and quantitative feedback
• Ability to effectively communicate and persuade around design concepts
• Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve
• Creative problem-solving capabilities that resonate with various audiences.
• Willingness to provide support to product engineers when needed.
