Procurement Officer at Horatio Limited

Responsibilities

• Analyze market and delivery trends so as to deploy appropriate procurement strategies and processes that support those trends.
• Design and implement effective proforma invoicing, LPO, Waybill, and other supply chain documentation system that ensures procurement transparency.
• Establish and regularly update price and manufacturers data base for all good and materials in use;
• Develop supplier database and establish annual purchasing plans and budgets for low and value items
• Manage relationship with vendors to ensure completeness of deliverables
• Schedule vendor payment arrangement in liaison with finance department
• Stay updated on latest business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services.
• Initiate cost replenishment and budget for frequently used items.
• Screen vendors from time to time to ensure their integrity and compliance with statutory regulations, and enforce under-performing vendor delisting and suspension where necessary.
• Ensure that all procurement records are properly maintained and secured.
• Inspect received goods and materials to ensure supplies are in line with quantity and quality specifications.
• Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost cut down and improvement opportunities.
• Any assigned duty by management towards effective and lawful discharge of duties and responsibilities.
