Obtain quotations services and other minor branch expenses. Maintain relationships with approved suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
Source alternative suppliers when necessary.
Liaise with pharmacy, laboratory, clinical, engineering. and administrative departments regarding procurement needs.
Coordinate with store personnel to monitor stock levels. Assist in preventing stock shortages and emergency purchases. Participate in stock verification exercises when required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Professional certification such as Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN), Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), or equivalent is an added advantage. Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of procurement regulations, contract management, and vendor management practices.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent sourcing and supplier evaluation capabilities. Ability to prepare and analyze quotations, bids, and procurement reports.
Knowledge of procurement planning and strategic sourcing.
Strong cost analysis and budget management skills. Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple procurement requests simultaneously.
Good understanding of inventory management principles. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet procurement timelines.
Strong contract administration and supplier relationship management skills.
Familiarity with healthcare products, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and consumables procurement is an added advantage.
