Job Description

• The procurement officer will ensure procurements are conducted in a consistent, transparent and cost-effective manner to avoid fruitless and wasteful expenditures.
• This office holder shall negotiate with contractors before arriving at a satisfactory amount that saves cost without compromising quality.
• The procurement officer manages all purchases for the branch, always negotiates with vendors for the best and most favorable rates for the company.
• The office holder is expected to be honest in all dealings and frugal in transactions on behalf of the company.

Qualifications

• B.Sc Holder in any of the numerate disciplines
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Procurement
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Strong knowledge of furniture products is a plus
• Highly organized and able to multi-task.

Requirements:

• Be familiar with Microsoft Office suite
• Be resilient and have vociferous negotiation skills
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have strong critical thinking and numerate skills
• Be organized and have accurate recordkeeping skills
• Be proficiency in the use of computers
• Be in charge of the purchase of equipment for the organization, contact suppliers and research offers and quotations.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
