    Procurement Officer

    Responsibilities

    • This is a full-time, onsite role for a Procurement Officer at our interim Fadeyi location, operating Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays (8 am – 5 pm).
    • The role is designed to bridge the gap between procurement, inventory control, and final order fulfillment, ensuring the pharmacy operates as a high-efficiency retail and distribution hub.
    • Knowledge of supplier relationship management and services within the shop floor is essential , as well as supervising activities and processes within the shop floor/ fulfillment centre.
    • This position is critical to the department’s goal of pharmacy fulfillment excellence. By managing procurement and inventory tightly, the technician reduces carrying costs and prevents revenue loss from stockouts or expired products.
    • The focus on fulfillment speed and accuracy directly improves fulfillment outcomes, customer retention, and improved revenue

    Qualifications:

    • B.Sc. degree (Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred)
    • 2–3 years working experience in a community pharmacy or pharmacy fulfillment setting - Proven experience in Procurement and Inventory Management
    • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and supply chain processes
    • Experience working with inventory management systems or pharmacy software
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools - Strong analytical and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple suppliers

    Preferred Advantage:

    • Additional certification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Inventory Management
    • Experience working with wholesalers and distributor networks
