Procurement Manager (Raw Material) at Cormart Nigeria Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for raw materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms in price, quality, and delivery.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and price fluctuations.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials to support uninterrupted production.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure materials meet required standards.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant legal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• 5 – 7 years experience in procurement, preferably in a chemical manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
