Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager with a strong background in IT accessories and equipment sourcing. The procurement manager will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, and supporting our technology teams by acquiring high-quality components and accessories essential to operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies specifically for IT hardware, peripherals, and accessories (e.g., servers, laptops, networking devices, printers, cables, etc.).
• Manage end-to-end procurement process: from demand planning, sourcing, negotiations, contracting, to delivery and payment.
• Identify reliable suppliers and vendors, evaluate performance, and maintain strategic relationships to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the most advantageous terms.
• Collaborate with the IT, finance, and logistics departments to align purchasing with operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other essential data.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on IT accessories and hardware.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proven knowledge of vendor management, sourcing strategies, and market research.
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPP, CPM).
• Experience working in a technology-driven or defense-related organization.
• Knowledge of international sourcing and import/export regulations.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
