Procurement Manager at MEDLOG Nigeria

About The Opportunity

• This role is a leadership role that requires an experienced Procurement Manager in the logistics/transport/supply chain industry.
• Must have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
• He/she will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer of MEDLOG Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy.
• Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market change and potential effects on supply.
• Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost.
• Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and
• demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Purchasing activities!

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements on contract management and supplier experience.
• Project management experience
• Knowledge and technical understanding of automotive processes and components in supply chain management
• Computer literate, especially MS Excel skills
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Purchase forecasting abilities

Education and Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience as a Procurement Manager
• BSC is Business Administration / Logistics or any relevant course.
• Be a Member of The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) is an advantage.
