Procurement/Contract Engineer

- Job Field Engineering / Technical , Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Negotiate with suppliers
- Evaluating supplier options
- Ensuring compliance in all procurement transactions
- Research potential vendors
- Performing regular performance reviews with suppliers
- Relationship maintenance with suppliers
- Review quality of purchased products
- Administers the bid pricing process
- Communicating equipment needs to the supplier
- Conduct vendor evaluation and registration
- Determination of equipment and supplies requirements
- Prepare procurement plans
- Resolves commercial clarifications with vendors
- Sourcing selection
REQUIREMENT
- BSC/HND in relevant field
- Must have at least 3 years experience in procurement (oil and gas)
- Must have technical knowledge in the oil and gas sector
- Must be resident in Eleme and its environs
