Role Summary:

Our client seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to support plant-wide process automation, minimize downtime, and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting automation issues, managing calibration and software systems, and maintaining a comprehensive automation database. Expertise in Krones Machines and a strong background in FMCG bottling operations are essential.

Job Description

• Support the entire plant in process automation and minimization of losses as a result of process malfunction
• Support corrective maintenance in automation and process control by evaluation, troubleshooting support and knowledge transfer.
• Manage calibration activities, software modifications, backups, parameter registration and version control
• Develop and maintain a database of all beverage plant automation information (settings, sensitivity, parameters etc.)
• Support in providing innovative/improvement idea to enhance continuous improvement in the process

Minimum Requirement

• First Degree or its equivalent in Electrical /Electronic Engineering, Process Control and Automation Engineering or related discipline.
• Membership of NSE and COREN certified is required.
• At least 10 years post-NYSC practical, job-relevant experience in a well structured FMCG (botting) company, with specific expertise in Krones Machines.
• Candidates from other West African Countries are encouraged to apply, but candidates must be able to communicate in English language
