    Private Wealth Advisor

    Job Purpose

    • Cordros Asset Management Limited seeks highly motivated and experienced Wealth Advisor to join our team at Cordros Wealth.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, developing new relationships, and providing comprehensive wealth management solutions.

    Responsibilities   

    • Establish portfolios of high net-worth clients (NGN100million+ in liquid assets)
    • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients
    • Provide comprehensive wealth management solutions, including investment management, financial planning, and estate planning
    • Identify and capitalize on new business development opportunities
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a holistic wealth management experience
    • Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes.

    Job Requirements
    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g, Finance, Economics, Business Administration)
    • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are an added advantage.

    Work Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in wealth management, investment banking, or a related field
    • For non-banking professionals, minimum of three years’ experience in Asset Management sales, Wealth Management, Marketing, or Business consultancy.
    • Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management principles
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

    Key Knowledge and Skills:
    Knowledge:
    The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:

    • Strategic Thinking
    • Comprehensive knowledge of domestic and international banking products/services and procedures, treasury structures, equity markets, mutual funds, fiduciary services and other personal investment services.

    Skills:
    The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:

    • Ability to formulate and manage a successful prospecting leads program in order to meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets.

    • Exceptional ability to confidently discuss financial matters with a diverse base of potential/existing clients. 
    • Proven ability to acquire new business. 
    • An innovative and productive approach to business development.

    • Adaptable, flexible, and able to thrive on challenges whilst handling a multitude of tasks and responsibilities.

    • Integrity, honesty, and total commitment to the requirement to maintain client confidentiality. 
    • Demonstrable interest in local and international finance, economics, and politics 
    • A team player, who is willing and able to assist the team in meeting and exceeding its objectives.

    Work Cycle:
    Hours/Days the incumbent is required to work

    • Monday – Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
    • Flexible working schedule is also available i.e remote work.
