Preschool Teachers (EYFS) at Kingston Bridge School

Responsibilities

• Teaching all areas of the EYFS using Montessori approach,
• Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within theclass,
• Taking responsibility for the progress of the learners,
• Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment,
• Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of learners’ development,
• Coordinating activities and resources within specific areas of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery,
• Providing feedback to parents and carers on learners’ progress,
• Keeping up to date with current procedures and practices through continuing professional development.

Essential Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience as a preschool teacher in a reputable school,
• Good knowledge of EYFS and applicability,
• Good knowledge of Montessori approach,
• Good writing skill (Nelson handwriting),
• Very good knowledge of Jolly phonics,
• Ability to effectively use online learning tools,
• Digitally knowledgeable,
• Excellent written and verbal communications (fluent in English Language).
