Job Summary / Role Description

• Commissioning Superintendent, COT supports the Commissioning Manager in the activities of planning, execution, documentation preparation and hand over to the Client of the facilities as per project requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises Contractor's and Sub-Contractor yard pre-commissioning activities;
• Ensure proper coordination between pre-commissioning and commissioning activities;
• Ensure proper coordination with sub-contractors involved in the pre-commissioning stages;
• Collect quantitative data from other disciplines for producing the progress reports; Review contractors construction schedules to ensure they include all required activities as realistic timelines, logical sequencing, adequate resources to allow for pre-com. activities;
• Coordinate with Commissioning Team during pre-commissioning phase in close relation with other disciplines superintendents

Knowledge & Qualifications

• Strong technical, supervisory and organizational skills.

Experience:

• 10 years' experience in pre-commissioning / CSU activities.  
• 5 years in Field Supervisor role, with prior experience in managing Field Service technicians at a project site.

Skills and Abilities:

• Fluent English;
• Excellent IT and analytical skills;
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
• Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills. Self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution;
• Attention to detail, and the ability to read and draft blueprints (as-builts), negotiation / customer relation skills, strong communications and interpersonal skills, leadership skills.
