Job Description

• Plan and supervise daily feeding, watering, and general care of the birds.
• Conduct regular health checks and coordinate treatment with the farm veterinarian.
• Implement best practices for minimizing mortality and maximizing production efficiency.
• Assign daily duties to farm workers and monitor performance.
• Train staff on chick handling, feeding schedules, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Ensure safety and discipline among team members.
• Monitor feed, vaccine, and medication stock levels.
• Enforce farm biosecurity and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: HND in Animal Science or Production / Nutrition Technology.
• 3-5 years of experience in layer production in a reputable company.
