Post Order Manager at Saipem Contracting

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Position

• Country Post Order Manager in charge of Expediting, Inspection, Project Material management and Logistic departments.

Main Tasks

• Guarantee coordination, control of activities from purchase order placement to delivery to final destination for material management, material progress status, material quality control, shipping and customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with technical and qualitative requirements defined during the design phase and to be in line with project plans and business strategies;
• Ensure the coordination of planning, design and management of transportations and relevant customs files, in order to guarantee the availability of materials within defined times, the transport optimization and clearance process completed in line with local requirements;
• Participate to the process of vendors qualification and evaluation of proposals with regard to materials characteristics and delivery times and ensure to the relevant Company Functions the availability of feedbacks on vendors performances;
• Management of resources.

Requirements

• Minimum ten years experience, preferably  Oil & Gas Sector;
• Good communication, teamwork and leadership skills;
• Previous experience in managing resources;
• Capable to work in remote environments.
