Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented POS Technician to join our dynamic team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals across various client locations.
• You will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance of POS devices, providing prompt technical assistance, and contributing to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and activate POS terminals at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on POS devices.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on POS equipment.
• Ensure all POS installations comply with company and regulatory standards.
• Train users on the proper use and basic troubleshooting of POS systems.
• Respond promptly to service requests and provide on-site or remote technical support.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs.
• Collaborate with the support and operations teams to enhance service delivery.
• Recommend improvements to technical processes and device performance.

Requirements

• OND / HND / BSc in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven years’ experience in POS device installation, maintenance, or technical support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of networking and connectivity for POS terminals.
• Ability to work independently and travel frequently across locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to quality service delivery.
