Job Summary

• The Plumber will be responsible for the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures for drainage and water systems.
• Overseeing the fitting and repair of sanitation systems.
• Handles domestic appliances such as water heaters and dish washers to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Carries out routine checks in the hostels, residential areas and the conveniences within the compound to determine the type and amount of material / equipment required for efficient delivery of service.
• Study the colleague to understand the structure ofwater supply or drainage system within the college community.
• Testing plumbing systems to identify leaks and other faults.
• Measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling pipes and other plumbing structures.
• Drill or cut holes in walls / floor to make room for the passage of pipes.
• Troubleshooting plumbing fixtures to perform repair or replacement of damaged components.

Qualifications and Experience

• SSCE, OND / HND or its equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role. 
• Any relevant experience is an advantage.

Personal Qualities

• Effective communication and presentation skills, good command of English Language, good understanding of adolescent psychology, good interpersonal skills, a team player, ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
