Job Summary

• To maintain a safe and hygienic environment within the factory and offices by expertly installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems critical for water treatment, distribution, and wastewater disposal.

The Job

• Study building plans and inspect structures to assess materials and equipment needs for specified plumbing activities.
• Perform scheduled inspection on plumbing system and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Ensure all water systems in the factory, security rooms, drivers’ lodge/cloak rooms, surroundings and office are in good working condition.
• Repair defective plumbing asset by locating cause of defect, thereafter, correcting or replacing defective part/pipes.
• Carryout plumbing activities in compliance with GMP and HSE standards.
• Adhere strictly to safety, professional, statutory and regulatory requirements in the use of tools/ equipment.
• GGG Awareness of your contribution to the effectiveness of QMS, including the benefits of improved performance including associated opportunities for improvement of the processes assigned.

Qualifications

• O ’level certificate in WASSCE, NECO or NABTEB.
• Relevant trade qualification.       

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Inquisitive mindset with willingness and ability to learn quickly.
• Acceptable knowledge of safety and health principles.
•  Ability to utilize diverse tools and machines with possession of practical aptitude.
