Plantation Manager at Raedial Farms

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Plantation Manager located in Benin City.
• The successful candidate will manage the daily operations of the plantation, which includes but not limited to supervising planting, harvesting, and processing activities and overseeing the maintenance of equipment, irrigation systems, and cultivation of crops.
• The Plantation Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, overseeing safety practices, maintaining records, leading and supervising personnel, and making financial and budgetary decisions as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, or any related field
• Proven experience as a Plantation Manager or any other relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge in current agricultural trends, practices, improvements, new programs, and techniques
• Sound understanding of the plantation environment, Agricultural Practices and Pest control strategies
• Experience in budgeting and managing production costs
• Experience in managing a team of agricultural workers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
