Planning / Scheduling Engineer at Dorman Long Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and analyze project schedules (Levels 1–4) from engineering through construction.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and ensure timely transmission to project stakeholders.
• Monitor progress measurement, S‑curves, critical path, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Support invoicing through accurate progress documentation and milestone tracking.
• Interface with project teams to ensure alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, cost control, and document control.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project schedules, forecasts, and control reports.
• Provide planning input to project execution and control procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years’ planning / scheduling experience, preferably in EPC or oil & gas projects.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Solid knowledge of EPC project lifecycle, progress measurement, CPM, and reporting techniques.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
