About the Role

• We are an artist project creating compelling articles, press releases, and opinion pieces about an anonymous artist.
• We have a team of talented writers producing high-quality content. Now we need someone toget that content published.
• We are looking for a specialist who can pitch our articles to a range of publications – from art blogs and luxury magazines to business leadership platforms and news outlets.
• You will work closely with our Team Lead to ensure every piece finds its audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify target publications for each article worldwide
• Identify direct to publish opportunities
• Write compelling, customised pitch emails
• Direct contact and build relationships
• Send follow-ups professionally and persistently
• Log all pitch activity in our Sheets tracker
• Report weekly on placements, rejections, and progress
• Maintain strong relationships with editors for future opportunities

Requirements

• Experience pitching content to publications (art, luxury, business, or culture)
• Excellent written English – pitches must be compelling and error-free
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Existing media contacts are a bonus
• Discreet – must sign an NDA
• Reliable internet access
• Fiercely competitive

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience pitching to art or luxury publications
• Knowledge of the contemporary art market
• Existing relationships with editors at target outlets
• Proficiency in other languages
