PL/SQL Developer/ Application Support Analyst at TriVersa Ltd

The Role:

An Intermediate level (at least 3 years) PL/SQL Developer with experience providing L1-L2 Application support for enterprise applications running on Oracle 11g to 19c database. Must be proficient in (1) writing and managing database Jobs and developing quick and ordered reports in PL/SQL. (2) Monitoring and resolving Webservices and other integration issues.
Vast experience in the following will be advantageous:

• Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL functions, procedures, Triggers, Types, packages, read/write .xml and .json files using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Demonstrable experience as an Application Support Engineer in a related field.
• Experience working with trouble ticket management solutions like ServiceNow and Remedy.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages, such as C#, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience working in Solaris operating system environment and proficiency in UNIX configuration protocols.
• Supporting systems that leverage Oracle for business logic processing and data storage.
• Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance.
• Database tuning tools (analyzing SQL trace files, etc.).
• Comfortable with live data fixes (production support)
• Good knowledge and understanding of web service APIs, server-side coding.
• Experience in configuring, implementing and management of ERP systems
• Knowledge of industry-leading Analytics, Business Intelligence, Customer Intelligence, and data management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support existing ERP environment, providing operational support (1st and 2nd level support) to business users.
• Respond to trouble tickets and provide root cause analysis as well as problem resolution within SLA.
• Monitoring of integration interfaces to all 3rd party applications and ensuring timely detection and resolution of issues.
• Work alongside existing development team to build / configure amazing solutions and software for clients.
• Gain significant experience financial, procurement, inventory and Sales functionalities of the ERP solution and be able to diagnose and resolve all ERP application enabled processes related issues in these aforementioned areas.
• Other duties include assisting with ERP user management and general daily and monthly operations support tasks.
• Ensure upgrades are thoroughly planned, documented, and implemented.
• Run standard routines as per procedures.

Desired Skills:

• Vast experience of configuring, and management of ERP systems

• Knowledge of industry-leading Analytics, Business Intelligence, Customer Intelligence and data management tools
• Familiar with automated testing, code quality tools, and continuous integration
• Experience with an Agile or hybrid approach to development & project management software
• Working at a client site in Lagos, Nigeria
