    Physiotherapist

    Position Overview

    • We are currently seeking a compassionate and qualified Physiotherapist to join our team and lead physiotherapy sessions for children in our care.
    • The Physiotherapist will be responsible for planning and delivering individualized and group physiotherapy interventions tailored to the specific needs of children with Clubfoot, Cerebral Palsy (CP), and other childhood disabilities. 
    • The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing mobility, function, and independence for beneficiaries while also supporting caregivers through training and guidance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess the physical and functional needs of children with clubfoot, cerebral palsy, and other disabilities.
    • Design and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
    • Conduct regular therapy sessions and monitor progress toward developmental goals.
    • Collaborate with caregivers, community health workers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
    • Educate parents and caregivers on home-based therapy techniques.
    • Maintain accurate treatment records, progress notes, and reports.
    • Lead community outreach and disability awareness programs.
    • Support the development of rehabilitation protocols and capacity building within the team.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy from a recognized institution.
    • Candidates with NYSC experience and have keen interest in child physiotherapy are strongly encouraged to apply.
    • Current license or registration with a relevant professional body.
    • Should be interested in working with children with clubfoot, cerebral palsy, and other developmental or physical disabilities.

    Key Competencies:

    • Excellent knowledge of therapeutic approaches for managing clubfoot, cerebral palsy (CP), and similar childhood conditions.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with children, families, and team members.
    • Ability to develop trust with families and promote active caregiver involvement.
    • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs.
    • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
