Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated physiotherapist for a client. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced physiotherapy team to provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments to clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments, including taking a comprehensive medical history and physical examination, to diagnose and identify the cause of the patient’s pain or injury.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and dry needling.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, adjusting them as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and advice on injury prevention, pain management, and rehabilitation exercises.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide coordinated and holistic care to patients.
• Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and trends in physiotherapy by attending professional development workshops and seminars.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
• 1-2 years experience as a Physiotherapist
• A current license to practice as a physiotherapist in the [Insert location]
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
• Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a private practice or sports medicine environment
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest research and techniques in physiotherapy.
• Must be physically fit, as the job often requires lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.

Salary
N60,000 / month.
