Job Description

• We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join our academic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the subject, a passion for inspiring learners, and the ability to bring abstract concepts to life through interactive and practical teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Physics lessons in line with the curriculum (e.g. WAEC/NECO/IGCSE, as applicable).
• Plan and implement schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and laboratory activities that support learning objectives.
• Promote critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and real-life application of physics concepts.
• Prepare students effectively for internal and external examinations.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a safe, stimulating learning environment.
• Participate actively in departmental planning, staff meetings, and school events.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and maintain academic records.

Qualifications & Skills

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Familiarity with WAEC and/or IGCSE syllabi is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in the use of ICT for teaching, learning, and reporting.
• Ability to inspire students and cultivate a strong interest in science.
