Role Summary:

As a Physical Therapist at our client's healthcare facility, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' physical abilities, developing customized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore function. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary function to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and assistive devices, to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals and maximize functional outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, and strategies for managing pain and preventing injuries.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nigeria.
• Proven experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
