As part of the organisation’s growth journey, they are seeking a Software Engineer with strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel to join their remote engineering team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building clean, maintainable web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to meaningful technology solutions in the health tech space.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop, maintain, and improve server-side web applications using PHP and Laravel
• Build responsive user interfaces and layouts using front-end technologies
• Write clean, well-structured, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise performance
• Ensure the security and integrity of application features and data
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions

Must-Have:

• PHP
• Laravel
• Tailwind CSS
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript

Bonus Skills:

• Laravel Livewire
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with RESTful APIs

Requirements

• Prior experience building web applications with PHP and Laravel
• Solid understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
