Job Summary
- Design, build, and maintain robust server – side PHP applications and RESTful APIs.
- Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers,
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, AND CI/CD pipelines required.
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
- Develop and manage databases and applications
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
- Write technical documentation
- Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional PHP development experience.
- Strong proficiency in core PHP and modern frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
- Solid experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Expertise in MySQL and/or PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
