    Phones & Mobile Technical Engineer

    • As a Phones & Mobile Technical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of mobile devices and related technologies sold on our platform.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform diagnostic tests and repairs on various mobile devices including smartphones and tablets.
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
    • Install, configure, and update mobile operating systems and applications.
    • Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, or in-person regarding mobile device usage, troubleshooting, and repairs.
    • Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve complex technical issues and escalate unresolved problems as needed.
    • Keep abreast of the latest trends, developments, and advancements in mobile technology to ensure up-to-date knowledge and expertise.
    • Conduct quality assurance tests on refurbished or repaired devices to ensure functionality and reliability.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and customer interactions.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience as a Mobile Technical Engineer or similar role, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
    • Solid understanding of mobile hardware components, operating systems, and software applications.
    • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing common mobile device issues such as screen damage, battery failure, and software glitches.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
    • 6. Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.8. Relevant certifications in mobile device repair or technical support will be an advantage.
