This is a full-time, on-site role for a Phlebotomist located in Lagos.
The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, ensuring proper sample handling and labeling, maintaining clean and organized workstations, and adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
Daily tasks also include interacting with patients to make them comfortable during the procedure, updating patient information in the system, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
Qualifications
Proficiency in blood collection techniques, handling, and labeling samples
Knowledge of safety and infection control procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients
Attention to detail and ability to maintain organized workspaces
Basic computer skills for updating patient data in the system
Certification in phlebotomy from an accredited institution
Previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is a plus
Ability to work diligently in a fast-paced environment
