Pharmacy Technician at Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Clinic

Job Description:

1. Collaborates with doctors/ pharmacists to dispense prescription medications to customers.
2. Receiving prescriptions and checking their validity.
3. Processing prescriptions electronically and ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
4. Selecting the appropriate medicine and measuring dosages to fill prescriptions.
5.  You will also undertake other clinicial  tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly.
6. Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
7. Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
8. Undertake administrative tasks (e.g.record-keeping) as assigned.
9. Comply with all security measures and quality standards
10. Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate.
11. Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening

Skills:

1.  detail-oriented and reliable.
2.  You must possess excellent communication skills.
3.  Computer literate, proficency in using EMR,experience with an online prescription system is an added advantage.
4. Proven experience as pharmacy technician.
5. Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement.
6. Outstanding organizational skills.
7. Reliable with a keen eye for detail. 
8. Ability to work with little or no supervision.
9.  Must have a good grasp of Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, etc)

Experience:

1. Must have at least one year work experience in Pharmacy techniciuan role in  a healthcare facility.
