    Pharmacist

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, ensuring medication safety, and promoting optimal use of pharmaceuticals. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care, prevent drug-related problems, and contribute to the overall well-being of our community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs in accordance with medical prescriptions and regulatory standards.
    • Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and patient instructions for all medications.
    • Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
    • Provide counseling to patients regarding their prescribed medications, including usage instructions, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
    • Educate patients on the proper use of over-the-counter medications and health products.
    • Address patient concerns or questions regarding medications and health conditions.
    • Review patient medication profiles to identify and resolve any potential drug-related problems, including drug interactions and adverse reactions.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy and recommend therapeutic alternatives when necessary.
    • Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, receiving deliveries, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
    • Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing, controlled substances, and patient prescriptions.
    • Ensure that all medications are stored according to regulatory guidelines to maintain efficacy and safety.
    • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
    • Maintain documentation and records for controlled substances in compliance with legal requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with the standards set by health regulatory bodies (e.g., FDA, DEA, etc.).

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • A Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.

    Licensure:

    • Current, valid pharmacy license in [state/country].
    • Active professional registration with relevant pharmaceutical authorities.

    Experience

    • Experience in medication counseling, dispensing, and patient interaction
