Job descriptions

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information.
• Collaborate with Healthcare professionals to optimize patient’s care.
• Manage inventory and ensure the activity of pharmaceutical products.
• Review over-the-counter (OTC) and medical prescriptions to ensure they are suitable for a patient
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment 

Requirements:

• A degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution and a valid license to practice as a pharmacist with 2-5 years experience, preferably in a hospital/clinical settings.
• Compulsory completion of NYSC.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies as the pharmaceutical society of Nigeria.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical laws and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical and drug therapies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Ability to work independently while upholding ethical and legal pharmacy practices
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software’s systems.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medication.
• Ability to work effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
