Role Summary

• The Pharmacist will oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe and effective dispensing of medications, and provide professional pharmaceutical care to patients. This role is central to delivering excellent service, supporting business growth, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Professional Duties

• Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, and possible side effects
• Provide professional advice on OTC medications and minor ailments
• Administer basic clinical services where applicable, including injections and wound care
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards

Operations & Business Performance

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Drive sales through responsible upselling and cross-selling
• Manage inventory, including stock levels, expiries, and procurement
• Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping

Customer Experience

• Deliver exceptional customer service and build patient trust
• Resolve customer complaints professionally
• Promote health awareness and wellness initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
• Must be registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
• Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in a community pharmacy setting (mandatory)
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
