    Pharmacist Assistant

    Job Summary

    • The Pharmacist Assistant supports the daily operations of the pharmacy in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient, professional, and friendly service to all customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and passionate about health and wellness.

    Key Responsibilities

    Dispensing & Customer Service

    • Preparing and dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately.
    • Provide excellent customer service — greeting clients, addressing inquiries, and referring complex cases to the pharmacist.
    • Educate customers on proper medication use and basic health tips under pharmacist supervision.
    • Support Troop’s TeleHealth and TroopNutri/TroopDoc services by helping patients connect to online consultations when needed.

    Inventory & Stock Management

    • Receive, label, and arrange medicines systematically on shelves.
    • Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with ordering supplies.
    • Ensure all products are within expiry and properly stored under recommended conditions.
    • Support inventory audits and documentation.

    Administrative & Operational Support

    • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, sales, and daily reports.
    • Handle payment transactions courteously and efficiently.
    • Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
    • Assist in display and merchandising of Troop products such as Troop-C, First Aid Kits, and Treated Nets.

    Health Promotion & Outreach

    • Participate in community and in-store health campaigns (e.g., free health checks, awareness days).
    • Help organize product promotions and wellness events.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bsc. in Science-related discipline.
    • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a community pharmacy setting.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
    • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, POS systems).
    • Friendly, professional, and proactive attitude.
