Pharmacist at Charther Pharmacy

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to work in our community pharmacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counselling, and performing various clinical services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, responsible and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications: Accurately dispense medications and provide instructions to patients on proper use and potential side effects.
• Patient counselling: Provide patient counseling on medications, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Clinical services: Perform various clinical services such as immunizations, blood pressure monitoring, and medication therapy management.
• Medication management: Manage patient medication regimens, including monitoring for potential interactions and adverse effects.
• Inventory management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
• Patient education: Educate patients on proper use of medications, devices, and equipment.
• Collaboration with healthcare team: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information.
• Comply with laws and regulations: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to pharmacy practice, patient confidentiality, and controlled substances.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Current licensure as a Pharmacist in Nigeria.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and strong commitment to patient care.
• Location: Preferred candidate to reside in Lagos, preferably Egbeda, Ikotun, Iyana-ipaja environs.
