Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatrician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and health education. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered care, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Examine and treat children with a variety of medical conditions
• Conduct routine check-ups, administer immunizations, and provide wellness advice
• Monitor patients’ growth, development, and nutrition
• Educate and counsel parents/guardians on preventive health and disease management
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using EMR systems
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary for further treatment
• Work closely with nurses and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in on-call and emergency pediatric services
• Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional ethical standards

Requirements:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Fellowship in Pediatrics (FWACP, FMCPaed, or equivalent qualification)
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
• Valid annual practicing license
• 2–5 years of post-fellowship experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time under pressure
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an added advantage
